Kaylee did awesome breastfeeding overnight. She's pretty much eating like she was at home before the surgery! Way to go kiddo!!!
We finally got Kaylee's scope at 2... He said everything looks good. He didn't see the fusing of the vocal cords they thought they saw. She just had a tight airway that caused the irritation when the tube was inserted. Because of that irritation she had swelling that required she keep the tube in. Something that we didn't see, but they couldn't have avoided had we known.
So finally, at 5:30 we were discharged!!
It's so nice to have this week behind us and from here on out we get to act like a normal baby! :)
Thank you all so much for all your love and support! We have been hearing stories of prayer circles from around the world. It's so humbling but has been so incredibly helpful in powering through this!
